Tenure-Track Associate Professor Position in General Linguistics and
History of English (University of Giessen, Germany)

The Department of Linguistics at the University of Giessen invites
applications for a tenure-track Associate Professor position (C3) in
General Linguistics and the History of English.

The position requires a strong commitment to research in these areas.
Top consideration will be given to candidates who can teach a wide
range of classes in General Linguistics and the History of
English. They are also expected to cooperate with other disciplines in
research and teaching and to develop new programmes of
study. Applicants should hold an excellent PhD in linguistics and have
a very good command of German.
