            CLIN 2001 PROGRAM AND CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

                     Twelfth CLIN Meeting
          (Computational Linguistics in the Netherlands)
                   Friday, 30 November, 2001
                     University of Twente


CLIN 2001, the twelfth meeting of Computional Linguistics in the
Netherlands, will take place in the Collegezalen Complex (CC-building)
at the Computer Science Department of the University of Twente, The
Netherlands. A preliminary program and registration form are now
available (see below). The languages of the conference are Dutch and
English.

Keynote lecture:

	Dr. David Traum
	(University of Southern California)
	"Ideas on Multi-layer dialogue management for Multi-party,
	 Multi-conversation, Multi-modal communication"


PROGRAM

The program of CLIN 2001 includes over 30 talks on many different
aspects of computational linguistics, including parsing technology,
information retrieval and presentation, syntax and semantics, machine
learning, corpus research and computational lexicography.

REGISTRATION

The registration fee for CLIN 2001 is EURO 29,50 (NLG
65,=). SIKS-AiO's can participate for free. The registration fee
entitles you to the proceedings of CLIN 2000 (held in Tilburg),
refreshments during the breaks, a lunch, and an informal reception.

CLIN 2001 is organised by the Parlevink language engineering group at
