        Job Opportunities at Kyungpook National University

Department of English Language & Literature at Kyungpook National
University (KNU) is currently inviting applications for two faculty
positions in Linguistics and American/British Literature.  KNU is one
of Korea's leading universities with over 24,000 students and 850
faculty.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in related field and native English speaker
Salary: Ranging from 35 to 65 million won based on previous
        experience (current exchange rate: $1 being approximately
        1,300 won)
Benefits: University housing on campus (excluding utilities), health
          insurance, round-trip airfare
Period: 2 years (beginning March 1, 2002)
Duties: 9 hours of teaching per week (15-week semester)
