The School of Modern Languages at Queen Mary, University of London,
invites applications for up to two Lectureships in
Linguistics. Expertise may be in any area of Linguistics but
preference may be given to Sociolinguistics.

The School has an outstanding record in research and teaching (it
gained the top 5 and 5* ratings in the 2001 UK Research Assessment
Exercise).

Appointments will normally be made on the Lecturer A or B scales
(currently 20,470 - 32,537 pound sterling plus London Allowance of
2,314 pounds sterling) although a senior appointment may be possible.
