We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it
is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have
taken the trouble to respond to the query.

In connection with a grammar training project at
http://www.autism-language-therapies.com I am looking for references
on language acquisition by autistic children, particularly in the
areas of morphology and syntax.

Thanks!

I'm trying to collect comparitives from as many languages as
possible. I'm most interested in 'more' and 'less'. I'm hoping to find
two things: (1) other languages that have a 'more'/'-er'-type
alternation for either the positive or the negative comparitive and
(2)languages in which one or more comparitive is morphologically
complex.

I'll happily post a summary of responses.

Thanks,

Linnaea
