CALL FOR WORKHOPS

TALN 2003 will be held at Batz-sur-Mer (44) on June 11 - 14 2003,
organized by IRIN (Computer Sciences Institute of University of
Nantes) in collaboration with the laboratories ACIDORE and VALORIA of
the University of Bretagne-Sud and IRISA, INRIA, Rennes.

TALN 2003 is organized under the aegis of ATALA (French Association
for Computational Linguistics) and will be held jointly with the young
researcher conference RECITAL 2003.

The TALN Workhops will be held on June 14 2003.

CALENDAR

Submission deadline: January 17 2003
TALN committee programme decision: beginning of February  2003
Final version due (camera-ready): April 30 2003

The workshops are centred on a specific topic of the TALN conference,
with a specific president and a specific programme committee.  The
TALN organizers will provide a room, coffee-breaks, lunches and
proceedings. The workshops will run in parallel with the tutorials on
one to four sessions of 1 hour 30.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE

Authors should send their submission as a file attached to an e-mail
to taln2003 at irin.univ-nantes.fr, before January 17 2003, with the
following information: topic of the workshop, the programme committee
and the desired number of sessions (1 to 4 sessions). The TALN
programme committee will choose between these proposals, according to
the available rooms at the conference.

FORMAT

Papers will be in French (or in English for non francophone
speakers). Papers should not exceed 10 pages, including figures,
examples and references must used the formats of regular papers that
are available on the Conference web site:

summary and the desired number of sessions (1 to 4 sessions). The TALN
programme committee will choose between these proposals, according to

Tutorials will be in French (or in English for non francophone
speakers).  Course books will not exceed 15 pages (for a tutorial of
1h30), 30 pages (for 3h), 45 pages (for 4h30) and 60 pages (for 6h)
and must used the formats of regular papers that are available on the
Conference web site: http://www.sciences.univ-nantes.fr/irin
