Subject:  Semantics: PostDoc Fellowship at Univ/Frankfurt, Germany

The graduate program "Sentence Types: Variation and Interpretation"
(Graduiertenkolleg "Satztypen: Variation und Interpretation") at the
University of Frankfurt/Main, Germany, is seeking applications for one
postdoctoral position.

The program was founded in April 2001 and receives its funding from
the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), the German national
research foundation. It combines several areas of linguistics and
establishes interdisciplinary relations with the neighboring
disciplines cognitive psychology, neuroscience and computer science.

The ideal candidate should have significant expertise in both formal
semantics and pragmatics, and is expected to coordinate and support
dissertation projects. Apart from teaching in at least one of the
project areas of the program, postdocs are expected to design and
organize courses for the graduate program in their areas of
specialization. This position is available April, 1 2002 for two years
and cannot be extended.

interests and up to three representative publications by February 15,
