The Department of Linguistics & Oriental Languages at San Diego State
University (http://www-rohan.sdsu.edu/dept/linguist/lol.html)
announces a position in Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies and/or
linguistics, a record of teaching excellence in the Arabic language at
the college/university level, publications in the field, and research
interests to complement these fields.  We seek candidates who have
experience in Arabic curriculum development, the use of technology in
the classroom and an interest in participating actively in the
undergraduate and graduate programs of the department and in working
with the linguistically and culturally diverse student population of
SDSU.  The position requires native speaker knowledge of Arabic and
native or near native speaker knowledge of English.
