Description:

The Linguistics Program at the University of Michigan-Flint invites
applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Linguistics for
Winter semester, 2003. Teaching responsibilities will be three
undergraduate courses: Structure of English, Introduction to
Linguistics, and an additional course in area of
specialization. Candidates must have demonstrated teaching and
research ability and a Ph.D. in Linguistics.

We are a regional campus of the University of Michigan with an
enrollment of approximately 6,500. Housed in the English Department,
the Linguistics Program offers an undergraduate minor and courses to
support the English major and both undergraduate and graduate programs
in Education.

Please send a cover letter, curriculum vitae and three letters of
recommendation. We will start reviewing applications on July 22, 2002
and continue until the position is filled.
