The 22nd West Coast Conference on Formal Linguistics (WCCFL XXII) will
be held on March 21-23, 2003, at the University of California, San
Diego.

This year there will be both a General Session and a Special
Session. The deadline for receipt of abstracts for both sessions is
November 15, 2002.

  GENERAL SESSION:
  Abstracts from all areas of formal linguistics and from any theoretical
  perspective are invited for 20-minute talks in the general session.

  SPECIAL SESSION: EXPERIMENTAL APPROACHES TO THEORETICAL LINGUISTICS
  Abstracts from fields such as psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics,
  computational linguistics, and phonetics that address issues in
  theoretical linguistics using experimental methods are also invited
  for 20-minute talks in this special session.

                   XXIX INCONTRO DI GRAMMATICA GENERATIVA
                      Urbino, February 13- 15, 2003

                           CALL FOR PAPERS
                           First announcement

The 'XXIX Incontro di Grammatica Generativa' will be organized by the
University of Urbino on February 13-15, 2003.  Submissions are invited
for papers in any field related to the formal study of grammar.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

The selection of papers will be based on anonymous reviewing of
abstracts. Authors are requested to submit their abstracts by E-MAIL
to the following address:

                       igg2003 at uniurb.it

We can only accept abstracts sent as plain e-mail messages or as
attachments in rtf format. Each speaker will be allotted 30 minutes
for presentation plus 10 minutes for discussion. Abstracts may not
exceed the length of 5000 characters including title, references, etc.
Please, add the author's complete SURFACE MAIL ADDRESS and E-MAIL
ADDRESS at the bottom of the abstract.  The official languages of the
conference are English and Italian.

                    DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION IS
                    --  NOVEMBER 10th, 2002    ---

Notification of acceptance will be no later than January 10th, 2003.

L'Universite di Urbino organizza nei giorni 13-15 febbraio 2003 il
'XXIX Incontro di Grammatica Generativa'. Gli aspiranti relatori sono
invitati a proporre interventi in qualsiasi campo connesso alla
ricerca formale in linguistica. La selezione degli interventi si
basere sulla selezione anonima di un riassunto. Gli autori sono
invitati a spedire i loro riassunti tramite e-mail al seguente
indirizzo:

Saranno accettati solo i riassunti inclusi nel corpo del messaggio
elettronico o allegati in formato rtf. Ogni speaker avre a
disposizione 30 minuti per la presentazione e 10 minuti per la
discussione. I riassunti dovranno contenere un massimo di 5000
caratteri compresi titolo, riferimenti bibliografici, esempi ecc. Si
prega di specificare L'INDIRIZZO POSTALE COMPLETO e L'INDIRIZZO
