Subject: Pragmatics Bibliography: INCLUDE YOUR PUBLICATIONS

IPrA Research Center --- Pragmatics Bibliography

In 1987, John Benjamins published "A Comprehensive Bibliography of
Pragmatics" (Jan Nuyts & Jef Verschueren), an invaluable research tool
documenting developments in the field of pragmatics. This original
2197-page annotated bibliography was already converted into an
electronic format some ten years ago. Rapid changes in the world of
electronic publishing, however, have meanwhile required a
re-conversion and have led to a renewed project, fully financed by
John Benjamins Publishing Company, that will make a substantially
expanded and updated bibliography available in electronic form as
early as 2003, with annual or semi-annual expansions and updates from
then onwards.

INCLUDE YOUR PUBLICATIONS!!!

If you have (co-)authored, edited or reviewed publications in
linguistic pragmatics - to be broadly conceived as a social, cultural
and cognitive perspective on language use and communication - your
publication(s) can, and should, be covered by the electronic
Bibliography of Pragmatics (eBoP). You can make sure they are by
(e-)mailing the following data for each relevant title to the address
below, and we'll do the rest.

Each title should contain:

- Publication title

- Author(s) of publication

- Year of publication

- Publication source (journal or book series)

- Publisher

- Place of publication

- ISBN/ISSN number

- Number of pages (for books) or page numbers (for articles)

- An abstract or annotation (except for reviews)

Note that there are no restrictions on the language of publication,
nor on the date of publication. If the language of publication is not
English, be sure to add an English translation of the publication
title.

Sincerely,

Jef Verschueren & Tom Van Hout
