The Linguistics Division of the Department of English is currently
seeking two (2) one-year positions (pending funding) at the level of
Visiting Assistant Professor, non-tenure-track, to begin Fall 2002.
Must be able to teach general undergraduate linguistics classes and at
least one of the following graduate classes: Second Language
Acquisition, Pedagogical Grammar, ESL Teaching Methods, or Typology.
UNT offers MAs in Linguistics and ESL and a Graduate Certificate in
TESOL.  We seek visiting linguists to contribute to a vibrant
linguistics research program, colloquium series, and student/faculty
