Hi all,

Aeons ago, I posted to the list looking for complete phonotactic descriptions
for different languages. There were only a couple of responses, but thanks to
 all who replied....

Many thanks to Larry Trask at University of Sussex who took out the time to
provide us a summary of phonotactics for Basque.

Michael Tjalve at Inifinitive Speech Systems suggested the reference:
Theo Venneman's "Preference laws for syllable structures" (Vennemann, Theo
(1988) Preference Laws for Syllable Structure, Berlin: Mouton de Gruyter)

Our group CLISTE (University College Dublin) also has the complete
phonotactics for English and German. The onsets of these are accessible at
this site for those interested:
