Description:

Applications are invited for a full-time position in English at The
University of Electro-Communications (Denki Tsuushin Daigaku).
Prospective applicants should refer to the following:

Rank: jokyooju  or kooshi

Teaching Assignment: compulsory English classes in reading,
composition, and/or conversation and some elective classes in related
fields.

Date of appointment: April 1, 2003

Qualifications: Applicants, preferably 30-45 of age, must have a Ph.D
or an equivalent research career preferably in TESOL or related
fields. Applicants may be of any nationality, but are expected to
possess sufficient fluency in Japanese to conduct administrative
duties.

Teaching career will be highly valued.  (e.g., experience in CALL and
in teaching technical writing and presentation in science fields will
be a plus.)

(1) a complete CV with a photo
(2) a list of publications
(3) up to three recent and relevant publications (copy)
(4) a brief statement (no more than two pages) of your particular
interests and strength in English teaching
(5) The name and contact information (including email) of one
