Subject:  Determiners: a/the in Computational Linguistics

I am a student. My research is dealing with the two determiners (i.e.,
a and the) in relation to Machine Translation of Computational
Linguistics. My specific question deals with setting up an algorithm
to translate Korean language, which does not have determiners, into
English, which depends heavily on the determiners. Currently, I don't
know how to approach this topic. Any direction to references or even
recommendations is well appreciated.

I am working in a thesis searching for auditory evoked potentials
using arabic CV syllables. I need to know the acoustic characteristics
of these phonemes including formant frequencies, transisitions, voice
onset time of the following phonemes:

aa , baa ,  daa, gaa and the semivowel waa
