We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it
is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have
taken the trouble to respond to the query.

Dear colleagues,

I have gathered the corpora of about 80 endangered world languages in
the electronic form. They are mostly Finno-Ugric, Tungus-Manchurian,
Turkic, Paleo-Asiatic and Siberian languages. I wonder if you could
help me to find AmerIndian and Australian languages in the electronic
form?

Looking forward to hearing from you soon to
yours most hopefully,

Sorry that I got my email address wrong in the previous mail. My email
address should be: wongpw at hkusua.hku.hk. The following is the message
in the previous mail:

I am looking for a list of abbreviations and acronyms available in the
Internet for English, German and French. The resources are crucial for
the research of name entity recognition in various languages and for
the investigation of the interesting patterns of abbreviations and
acronyms.

If somebody knows for such lists, please let me know. I will send the
summary to the Linguist List. Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
