The LINGUIST List strongly encourages employers to use
non-discriminatory standards in hiring policy. In particular we urge
that employers do not discriminate on the grounds of race, ethnicity,
nationality, age, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. However, we
have no means of enforcing these standards.

Job seekers should pay special attention to language in ads regarding
employment requirements and are encouraged to consult our international

This page has been set up so that people can report on the employment

- The ability to research and understand another community's world
  structure.
- A genuine interest in developing a good grasp of how the world
  looks, from the perspective of one whose world it is.

  including Microsoft Office applications. Basic familiarity with

  never imagined -- namely, developing what some of the top people in
  the field have called "a revolutionary breakthrough of the first
  magnitude."
- An exciting, fast-paced entrepreneurial work environment;
- A fun and supportive team;
- Compensation commensurate with experience
