New International Masters Program in Language Science and Technology

Saarland University at Saarbrücken offers a new international Masters
Program in Language Science and Technology, leading to the degree
Master of Science (M.Sc.) in 18 months.  All courses are taught in
English. Saarbrücken is one of the world's leading centers for
language science and technology with faculty and students coming from
many countries. An active program of basic, applied and cognitive
research combines with state-of-the-art facilities to provide students
with a rich and stimulating environment for their research.

Offered areas of specialization:
	-  Computational Linguistics
	-  Computational Psycholinguistics
	-  Language Technology
	-  Phonetics and Speech Technology

If requirements are fulfilled, the continuation of studies
toward the doctoral degree is possible.

The program is research-intensive.  A limited number of
RA positions in research projects will be available
to the students of the MSc Program.

The program will start in October 2004
Application deadline for 2004: February 15, 2004.
