This is a session of the following conference:
27th Penn Linguistics Colloquium

Meeting Description:

This panel discussion will explore the legacy of Erving Goffman.  A
number of short talks on Goffman's legacy and language interaction
will be followed by general discussion period led by Dr Deborah
Shiffrin.

This session will be especially interesting to researchers in
sociology, anthropology, linguistics, and interdisciplinary subfields.

Attendance at this special session does not require a registration fee.
