The Department of Linguistics at the University of Utah invites
applications for a 9-month non-tenure track Lecturer position
beginning August 2003.  Ph.D. or ABD in TESL, Applied Linguistics, or
related field required.  2003-04 teaching duties include teaching
graduate courses and supervising and training district facilitators
for inservice courses.  Duties also include working with Department
faculty and school district personnel as Director of the off-campus
ESL Endorsement Programs.

specific information.  Experience in program administration, and with
public schools and K-12 teacher education required.  Course
development experience for ESL Endorsement programs is a plus.
Position contingent on funding.  Salary competitive; full benefits.
Additional summer work and salary possible.  One-year contract may be
extendable; renewal subject to performance review at the end of the
first year and availability of funds.
