Subject:  Funded MSc/PhD position available

MSc/PhD position (initial funding 18 months) at Dublin City
University, School of Computer Applications, National Centre for
Language Technology, Dublin, Ireland.

We are looking for a strong postgraduate (MSc or PhD) student to join
our project team on Automatic Annotation of Treebank Resources with
LFG (Lexical-Functional Grammar) F-Structure Information.

Our ideal candidate has a background in Computational Linguistics
(NLP, HLT), Linguistics and/or Computer Science. S/he has a strong
interest in linguistic data, corpus linguistics, unification
(constraint) grammars (LFG, HPSG, etc.) and (ideally) programing
experience in one or more of Java/Perl/Prolog/C++.

Funding is for 18 months (initially), covering fees and a monthly
stipend of 1,100+ euro (depending on qualifications, experience etc),
preferred starting date April 2003 (negotiable).
