GoDigital, the weekly BBC world service programme that looks at how
technology is changing our lives, this week carries an interview with
Professor Peter Austin, (Märit Rausing Chair in Field Linguistics and
Director of the Endangered Languages Academic Program, SOAS) about
''how technology can help preserve lost languages for future
generations''. There is both an audio and video file available (until
Sunday 23rd March) at:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/1478157.stm

Once at this page, you'll need to click ''audio'' or ''video'', and
then the interview with Peter Austin can be found 16 minutes and 50
seconds into the programme.
