Postdoctoral Fellowships in Cognitive Science at New Bulgarian
University

The Central and East European Center for Cognitive Science at New
Bulgarian University invites applications for one-year post-doctoral
fellowships for the 2003/2004 academic year (with a possible
extension). The successful candidates will have an active research
program in an area of cognitive science that complements thestrengths
of current faculty at the Center.  Preferred areas include:

-  Analogy Making: Computational Modeling and Experimental Research
   (Boicho Kokinov, Maurice Grinberg)
-  Cognitive Architectures (DUAL) (Boicho Kokinov, Maurice Grinberg)
-  Constructive Memory: Computational Modeling and Experimental
   Research (Boicho Kokinov, Maurice Grinberg, Encho Gerganov, Lyudmil
   Mavlov, David Popivanov, Elena Andonova)
-  Context and Context Sensitivity of Human Behavior (Boicho Kokinov,
   Maurice Grinberg, Encho Gerganov, Elena Andonova, Stefan Mateeff,
   Angel Vassilev)
-  Cognitive Economics and Decision-Making (Boicho Kokinov, Maurice
   Grinberg, Stefan Mateeff)

The Post-Doctoral Fellows are expected to interact with faculty and
graduate students and to work on research projects. The available
research facilities include an experimental psychology lab, a
neuroscience lab (EEG and eye-tracking equipment), and a usability
lab. As part of the application process, applicants are strongly
encouraged to contact one or more of the faculty members in the Center
for Cognitive Science and discuss possible research activities. More
