Description:


This position exists to apply advanced technology research,
experimental design, analysis, prototype development, testing, and
reporting in the area of information retrieval. To consult with
internal customers, gather requirements for research strategy and
provide recommendations. Lead early stage product ideation
functions. Independently perform analyses to develop and implement
high level research designs, advanced prototypes, and system
components for technology transfer. Remains current on academic and
industry research and advances within his/her area of expertise.

EXPERIENCE: Position requires a Ph.D. in Information Retrieval,
Computational Linguistics, or equivalent technical
discipline. Industry recognition in relevant technologies and
experience in text processing research on legal documents are highly
desired. Independently motivated to plan and achieve research through
analysis, design, and prototyping. Ability to communicate effectively
with internal and external technical and business executives. Ability
to devour academic and industry research.
