Description:

The first position is part of a collaborative project with the
university of Leuven, and addresses differences in spoken standard
Dutch in the Netherlands and in Flanders, focusing on morphosyntactic
variables in a recently compiled corpus of spoken Dutch. The duration
of this project is four years.

The second position addresses the role of semantics in language
processing, combining behavioral studies and neuroimaging with lexical
statistics and computational modeling.  This is a position for three
years, and comes with some student assistence and includes a research
visit abroad.
