Meeting Description:

This autumn, the Poznan School of English, Department of the History
of English, organises the second meeting in the MESS-series. The
symposium is hoped to become a valuable discussion grounds for
medievalists, specialising both in linguistics and literature. The
meeting is open to everybody, from Poland as well as from abroad, and
all interested scholars are encouraged to participate! The 2nd
Mediaeval English Studies Symposium, organised by the School of
English, Adam Mickiewicz University, will be held in Pozna from 22. to
23. November 2003. MESS 2 will have as its aim bringing together
specialists in the areas of mediaeval English linguistics and
literature. Three linguistic and two literary sessions are planned, as
well as three plenary papers.
