Meeting Description:

The XXIIIrd annual meeting of the SALA conference will be held at the
University of Texas at Austin from Oct. 10-12, 2003. The SALA
conferences cover a wide range of issues in the study of South Asian
Languages. A non-exhaustive list includes descriptive linguistics,
historical linguistics, language teaching, sociolinguistics, and
theoretical linguistics.
