Description:

The Department of Asian Languages and Literature at the University of
Washington seeks to appoint a full-time Lecturer in Korean. The
initial appointment, starting Autumn Quarter 2004, is for three years,
with the possibility of renewal.  Applicants should have at least an
M.A. degree in Korean, Applied Linguistics, Foreign Language Teaching,
or another relevant area. The successful applicant will be expected to
teach Korean at all levels, to develop teaching materials, and to
train and supervise teaching assistants.

Priority will be given to complete applications received before
December 1, 2003. Send applications, including a cover letter
explaining qualifications and teaching philosophy, a curriculum vitae,
sample teaching materials, and three letters of recommendation to:
