Description:

THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN DENMARK announces a tenure-track position
(Associate/Assistant Professor) beginning in July 2004 for a
specialist in German to teach undergraduate and graduate courses for
students in Commercial Language and International Business
Communication and Language and Culture Mediation in our cross border
programs in cooperation with Flensburg University in Germany.
Candidates must be willing to take active part in the development of
existing and new programs.

QUALIFICATIONS: Doctorate in German Linguistics or closely related
field, demonstrated ability to carry out research in at least one of
the following areas
- German as foreign language
- Contrastive linguistics
- Intercultural (business) communication
- Language for special purposes
The position requires prior teaching experience at university level.
Candidates without prior knowledge of Danish are required to learn
Danish within 2-3 years.
