Meeting Description:

This interdisciplinary conference brings together researchers working
on the interface of language and cognition. The conference
centresaround the three themes Characterisation of Mental States,
Categorisation, and Development.  Contributions from 17 countries are
presented by researchers working in the fields of Artificial
Intelligence, Cognitive Science, Linguistics, Neuroscience,
Philosophy, and Psychology.

The registration deadline for the International Language and Cognition
Conference (ILCC 2004) has been extended to August 13th. Registrations
for the conference will not be possible after this date.

Place/time: Coffs Harbour (Australia), from 10-12 September 2004

If you have not yet registered, please note that the registration fee
includes two nights' accommodation in a resort room (from Friday 10th
to Sunday 12th), buffet breakfasts, morning teas, working style
lunches, afternoon teas, and a cocktail reception on Friday evening.

If you would like to bring a partner who is NOT attending the
conference, choose 'Single Room'; they will share your room and their
accomodation will be free. However it is important to note that they
must pay for all meals: they are NOT included in the conference deal
of breakfasts, teas, lunches, and cocktail reception! If you would
like to bring children this will cost a little more; contact the
conference secretary Dorothea Cogill-Koez.
