PART TIME TEACHING POSITIONS

The MA and PhD Program of Applied Linguistics and TESOL at Georgia
University Asia-Pacific invites applications for several part time
teaching positions in the field or related fields of Applied
Linguistics (Pragmatics, Second Language Acquisition,
Psycholinguistics, Language and Culture, Corpus Linguistics) and
TESOL/EFL (Language Teaching Theories and Practice, Language Testing,
Curriculum Design, Computer Assisted Language Learning and Teaching).

Qualifications for application include a PhD, EDD, or MA degree or
equivalent in Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, TESOL, or related
fields, native or near-native proficiency in English, and demonstrated
ability to supervise graduate students.  As an on-line program, we
especially welcome applicants with on-line or distance teaching
experiences.  One of the privileges of teaching on-line is its
flexibility.  Prospective educators do not have to be physically
present on campus, but would be required to show a strong promise and
commitment in both teaching and research.

Interested applicants please send a cover letter expressing research
and teaching interests, Curriculum Vitae with a brief plan for future
research, list of publications, two letters of recommendation, and any
materials which will facilitate application to the department Chair

application materials should reach us no later than March 30, 2004,
though the position will remain open until filled.
