CALL FOR INTEREST

(a). A new position in the rank of either lecturer/Lektoras or
Assc. Professor/Epik. Kathigiti depending on invited interested
parties is open in the Dept. of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics.

Name of position: COMPUTATIONAL LINGUISTICS

This is a tenure track job in a big School of English, consisting of
four Departments, (two in Literature, one in Linguistics and one in
Translation and Cultural Studies). The job is equally divided between
teaching (usually 6-8 hrs per week, but mostly to big classes) and
research, but faculty also engage in some administration. Our students
(over 1,500) have a high competence in English and all teaching is
carried out in English. Applicants are also expected to contribute to
our postgraduate program, both in the MA teaching section but also in
the supervision of Ph.D candidates. Salaries are fixed and not
negotiable. Appointments are centrally managed by the Ministry of
