Description:

The Department of Linguistics, University of Ottawa, invites
applications for a contractually limited (one-year) appointment at the
Assistant Professor level in Psycholinguistics and Syntax commencing
July 1, 2004. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Linguistics or a
related discipline with evidence of strong research potential as well
as demonstrated teaching ability. The position involves teaching
undergraduate and graduate courses in Psycholinguistics, First
Language Acquisition and Syntax. The deadline for applications is
April 15, 2004. Applications should include a curriculum vitae,
samples of scholarly work and copies of peer and student teaching
evaluations.  As well, applicants should arrange to have three (3)
letters of recommendation sent to arrive before April 15, 2004 to:
