Description:

Professorship (C3), to begin in Autumn 2004 at the University of
Konstanz.

A Ph.D. in an appropriate discipline and a "habilitation" or
equivalent publication record are required.  A demonstrated capability
for research in the neural mechanisms of language and the interface of
mind and brain, with expertise in multi-modal neural imaging
techniques (EEG, MEG), is essential.

The successful candidate will hold an appointment as a Professor in
the Department of Linguistics and will teach in the graduate and
undergraduate programmes.  There will be the opportunity to
participate in the multidisciplinary research group,
Sonderforschungsbereich 471, "Variation and Development in the
Lexicon".

This is a permanent position but initial appointments are for three
years. Immediate permanent status is negotiable.
