The goal of the conference is to bring together contributions from
different orientations within the field of grammaticalizatyion. As in
the two previous conferences (NRG1, Potsdam 1999, and NRG2, Amsterdam
2002), we expect both the speakers and the audience to question old
assumptionsand come up with new ideas on grammaticalization itself and
on other related issues. The International Conference New Reflections
on Grammaticalization 3 will be held in Santiago de Compostela 17-20
July, 2005.

Guest speakers: W. Croft (University of Manchester), Z. Frajzyngier
(University of Colorado), A. Giacalone Ramat (University of Pavia) and
T. Kuteva (University of Düsseldorf).

Papers are invited on all aspects of grammaticalization. Abstracts
must be between 400 and 600 words long and must (i) state clearly the
purpose of the paper and the topic/problem to be discussed, (ii)
specify the data used (if any), and (iii) list the relevant
references. Please send your abstract before 30 November 2004 as an
e-mail attachment to <gramma3 at usc.es>.
