We're two students writing a paper on coalescence in Basque and have
run into an obstacle obtaining enough significant data. We have
examples like /bat-batean/ becoming [bapatean], where the /t/ and /b/
segments coalesce to [p], ie. the output segment has the voice feature
of the first consonant and the place feature of the second. However,
we cannot find any data showing what happens when two voiced
consonants come together across word boundary in Basque, or any
examples involving three consonants in a row. Are there any Basque
speakers or scholars that could offer us some insight?

Also, we need to motivate our assumption that a word like [bapatean]
would be syllabified [ba.pa.te.an]. We don't know how to support this
syllabification? Thanks so much in advance!

I am considering using on-demand publishing for some conference
proceedings. Does anyone in the linguistics community have recommendations
for such publishers? I have already researched Trafford and I'm looking for
more. Are there any such publishers who specialize in academic publishing?
