Description:

Lectureship in Old and Middle English (Fixed-term)	
£22,191 pa, pro rata	

The successful applicant will be required to provide undergraduate
teaching for a level one Old English module and a level two module on
Chaucer's Comic Tales, and contribute to teaching on other modules at
BA or MA level as appropriate. There may be opportunities to undertake
teaching in your own specialist area. Applicants should have a good
honours degree in an appropriate subject and be in the process of
completing a PhD. Experience of undergraduate teaching and sound
knowledge of aspects of Old and Middle English language and literature
are essential. This post is available for 4 months from late September
2004 to late January 2005 to cover a period of AHRB-funded study
leave.
