Meeting Description:

PHI-THEORY: PHI-FEATURES ACROSS MODULES AND INTERFACES

A special workshop on phi-features will be take place at McGill
University in Montreal, Canada, from August 27-29, 2004. The workshop
will assemble linguists investigating phi-features from syntactic,
semantic and morphological perspectives. The aim is to explore the
extent to which findings in each of these areas converge or diverge,
and to ask what light this may shed on the interfaces between modules.
