Description:

The Department of Linguistics, McGill University, invites applications for
a tenure-track position in Semantics, expected to be at a junior level,
effective August 1st,  2005.  Qualifications are a PhD in Linguistics with
primary specialization in Semantics and a record of high quality research and
publication.  Research interest in syntax, pragmatics or computational
linguistics highly desirable. Responsibilities include teaching and
supervision at the graduate and undergraduate levels.  Salary:  McGill
scale.  All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however Canadians
and permanent residents of Canada will be given priority. McGill University
is committed to equity in employment.

Applicants should send a letter of introduction, CV, teaching evaluations,
sample of research, and arrange for three letters of recommendation to be sent.
