Description:

The Department of Linguistics at New York University will be adding a position
in Phonology, beginning September 1, 2005, pending administrative and budgetary
approval. The hiring will be either at the Assistant Professor (tenure track) or
the Associate Professor (tenured) level; in the latter case, we are looking for
applicants at the beginning of their tenured career.

Responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Applicants should have a strong research record and a demonstrated ability to teach.
