Description:

Middle Tennessee State University Department of English invites applications in
Applied Linguistics (position # 123075); tenure-track; Asst/Assoc; Ph.D.
expected by August 1, 2005. Preference will be given to candidates able to teach
grammar instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates should
be committed to undergraduate instruction in General Education courses. Teaching
load is 12 hours (4 courses) per semester. Send a letter of application
including a statement of teaching philosophy and research interest, CV, copies
of transcripts of all college degrees, and three letters of recommendation to
the address below. Salary commensurate with education and experience.  Review of
applications will begin on October 25, 2004 and will continue until position is
filled.  Official transcripts (not issued to student) of all degrees are
