Dear Linguists,

For my MA thesis, I'm preparing to do some fieldwork focusing on first- and
second- person constructions (speech act participants) in Ottawa, focusing
on constructions where the speech act participants are acting on each
other. I'm looking into the possibility of morphological reanalysis or
restructuring due to language contact with English. Although I have access
to Valentine, Rhodes, and Bloomfield, I'm having trouble finding resources
relating to this topic. 

I'd appreciate any references on 
1) the Ottawa language in general and the Walpole Island area in particular
2) animacy hierarchy systems in Algonquian languages
3) language contact and effects on language structure (rather than lexical
borrowing)
4) elicitation methodology focusing on first/second person constructions
5) any related topics which come to mind

Thank you in advance for your response, and I will of course post a summary
to the list. As this is my first fieldwork experience, any and all
suggestions are welcome.

Hello, I'm a graduate student at the University of Barcelona working on
prefixes and argument structure alternations. I am interested on prefix
verbs in Latin and Ancient Greek, and I would be very grateful if someone
could give me some hint about any on-line corpus of these languages which
could be browsed for the above mentioned purpose. Thank you very much.
