Meeting Description:

Deverbal nouns are a crucial topic of linguistic inquiry because their
analysis involves problems of morphology, syntax and semantics and can
shed light on the interfaces between these components.

3. Getting to Villeneuve d'Ascq
Frequent direct hi-speed trains link Lille with Paris (either Paris Nord
or Charles de Gaulle airport stations, 1 hour), Brussels (Gare du midi, 40
minutes) and London (Waterloo International, 2 hours).

FromLille Flandres station
Take metro line 1, direction ''4 Cantons''. Get off at the ''Pont de
Bois'' stop. Exiting the metro station, cross the round about and take the
pedestrian walk that goes along a square with blue metallic arches. At the
top of the square, take a left between two large appartment blocks, and
continue straight on to a pedestrian bridge. Go over the pedestrian
bridge, entering the campus, and continue straight on, between the
''Bibliothèque Centrale'' and the ''Restaurant Universitaire''. Veering
slightly to the right towards the center of the glass and metal gallery
that is in front of you, go through the passage way in the middle and down
a flight of steps. Continue straight on till you get to a road that goes
along a green metallic fence. Take this road towards the left and follow
the signs towards the Maison de la Recherche.

FromLille Europe station.
Take metro line 2, direction ''St Philibert'' for one stop and get off at
Lille Flandres station. Continue as above.
