Description:

The Linguistics Department at the University of Maryland invites
applications for an open rank position in Child Language Acquisition
beginning August 2005.  Applicants for the position should already
have a PhD or expect to have one by next August, should be prepared to
teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level, and should
have a solid foundation in linguistic theory.  Teaching experience at
the university level is also highly desirable.

Letters of application should indicate whether applicants plan to
attend the January LSA meeting in San Francisco.  Applicants should
send a current CV and a sample of work for the selection committee to
read; and they should arrange to have three letters of reference sent.
For best consideration, applications should arrive by December 1,
2004.  EO/AAE.
