We at the University of Toronto are currently making plans for an
interdisciplinary, (mainly) student-run, (mostly) non-academic working
group in language endangerment. We'd like to get in touch with similar
groups in other universities and/or communities, if such exist. Does anyone
know of any?

Dear sir/madam,

I am a Ph.D. student of computational linguistics working at Internatinal
Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, India. I have not yet
started my research work but I am keen to work on minimal and maximal noun
phrases in Hindi (extraction) which will enable me to make a good parser
for Hindi. Please let me know if there is already any parser available for
Hindi. Also let me know if there is any work done in or going on for
minimal and maximal noun phrases for any other languages.

I'll be extremely grateful to you for your suggestions and information.
