Special Issue on `Language and Peace'

South Asian Language Review (SALR), a bi-annual journal published in India
beginning with January 1991 invites contributions on the theme `Language
and Peace' from scholars working in the area of culture, communication,
discourse, literary criticism, peace research, language education and
related fields. Papers should focus on the role of language in promoting
peace across the globe.
	

Submission Requirements:

Authors are requested to submit an original paper in not more than 3000
words (15 pages) by September 30, 2005. Papers may be submitted
electronically in MS Word/pdf/ps formats to umarani at pitt.edu or
onkoul at sify.com . We encourage you to use the style sheet of `Language'.
Please mail a hard copy of the paper as well at one of the addresses given
