Description:

The Department of Linguistics and Germanic, Slavic, Asian and African Languages
at Michigan State University will make a 1-year visiting appointment in
Semantics at the Assistant Professor level, to begin August 16, 2005.  The
successful candidate will have publications and/or presentations in semantics
and demonstrated teaching ability. Teaching load will be 5 courses comprising
graduate and undergraduate semantics courses and introductory linguistics.  PhD
by time of appointment strongly preferred.  Consideration of applications begins
March 10, 2005.  Send letters of application describing research and teaching
interests, vita, and three letters of recommendation to the address below.
