The Penn Linguistics Colloquium is an annual conference organized by
graduate students in the Department of Linguistics at the University of
Pennsylvania.

LAST REMINDER: PREREGISTRATION FOR PLC29

Dear Colleagues:

The 29th Annual Penn Linguistics Colloquium will take place February 25-27
at the University of Pennsylvania's Jon M. Huntsman Hall.

Keynote address:
Mark Baker (Rutgers University).
Title: Gerunds and the Theory of Categories

The PLC 29 program includes sessions on syntax, semantics/pragmatics,
computational linguistics, morphology/syntax, the syntax/semantics
interface, phonetics/phonology, historical syntax and sociolinguistics. For
