Description:

The Department of World Languages & Hispanic Literatures' anticipates
multiple openings for part time faculty for the Fall 2005 semester for the
following areas: Basic & Advanced Composition in Spanish, Advanced Oral
Communication in Spanish, Spanish Civilization, Introduction to Hispanic
linguistics (in Spanish), Language Universals & Typology (in English), and
American Sign Language.

Minimum Qualifications: ABD / Ph.D. in appropriate field with
university-level teaching experience

Interested applicants should submit a current C.V., contacts for 3
professional references, and a letter of interest describing area of
expertise, teaching philosophy, pedagogy, and previous teaching experience.

Applicants will be added to the WLHL Department's Vacancy Pool to fill
expected openings in Fall 2005 and beyond. Priority will be given to those
applications received before April 15th.

CSU San Marcos currently offers instruction in French, German, Japanese,
