Description:

Applications are invited for a one-year, full-time, limited-term position at the
Assistant Professor level in Linguistics, Departmentof Linguistics, University
of Toronto. Appointment commences July 1, 2005.

Qualifications: Ph. D. completed, evidence of research ability, and relevant
teaching experience. The position involves teaching five semester courses
including some of the following: Introduction to Linguistics, English Words,
English Grammar, Syntax, Diversity, Language Revitalization, History of
Linguistics, Historical linguistics, Phonetics; conducting research, and taking
part in the normal activities of the Department. Salary will be commensurate
with qualifications and experience.
